I've had a lot on my plate recently, so I haven't had much time for LEGO Mineverse or updating this website. But now, I will tell you everything that has happened.
1. I started a new Youtube Channel! Yay! You can see it here:

2. MCEdit is being annoying.
I'm trying to install it, but it seems to be out of date and won't work on my Operating System, Linux.

3. I'm working on a minigame map, and I hope to make it a 24/7 server, but that costs money, so that's uncertain. The name is still in progress, but it involves a team of thieves trying to steal all the items from the other team's village. My friend Gamewinn will be helping me with it.

4. The Sonic the Hedgehog mod isn't in 1.6.2 while I'm typing this, so Sonicraft can't be played until it's updated. Sorry.

5. I'll have my Dad see if he can help me install MCEdit (he knows a lot more about computers than I do), and progress on Avant Gardens, and LEGO Mineverse in general, will skyrocket.

I may not be able to post on this blog for awhile again, but who knows. I'll try to as much as possible.

So... Avant Gardens has begun construction. I have also added a new feature: breakable boxes. They are made of clay, which is one of the only blocks you will be allowed to break (along with blocks you placed yourself on a property).
Now for the question:
Avant Gardens was a very big world. A LOT bigger than the Venture Explorer. And the Venture Explorer took a long time. Even though I have had some beta testing applications, and I will be asking for help from one of my friends, it is going to take awhile. So what I want to ask is this: what should I do about Avant Gardens, and big worlds I will be making in the future? Should I make half of it, publish it, then make the other half? Or should I just make the entire thing and publish it, even though the wait will be a little longer?

Hello everyone! Recently, I have taken a break from working on LEGO Mineverse (until I can recruit some people to help me), so I downloaded the Sonic the Hedgehog mod by MCVoxelSH.

Anyways, as I was messing around with the awesome features, I found myself building a Green Hill Zone level. So my next map will be... SonicCraft! I know that Disco has made Sonic the Hedgehog in Minecraft before, but hey, I should be able to do it too! I have finished Green Hill Zone and I am now building Marble Hill Zone. It is going to be awesome, like a real Sonic game!

Here's a video of me running through Green Hill Zone on a speed run. I didn't go through all of the areas of the level and I didn't go into the secret rooms, because I didn't want to reveal too much!

Introducing LEGO Mineverse, LEGO Universe in Minecraft! Head on over to the maps page to download it! And don't forget to download the texture pack as well, on the Texture Packs page! If you don't use it, things might look a bit strange.

First of all, I need to tell you something. I am going to Memphis with my church to paint houses next week. I will be gone from June 3 to June 8. Therefore, I won't have time to work on anything Minecraft related. Because of this, I am hoping to publish Lego Mineverse before June 3! It is almost finished, and I've even added in 2 extra surprise worlds! I know you will enjoy them! The texture pack is also coming along very nicely. However, it will not be complete by the time Lego Mineverse comes out. I will still release it, but not everything will be textured. Enough will be textured for the map, though.

Today was my last day of school! And because of this, Lego Mineverse will progress much faster. The Venture Explorer is almost done, I just need to finish the outer layer. After that, just a few tweaks to the imagination system, and it will finally be done! The Venture Explorer anyways.
After the Venture Explorer is finished, I will immediately begin work on Avant Gardens.

The Venture Explorer is officially finished! Well, just the parts you can explore. I still need to add the outer layer, so it's a spaceship and not a bunch of floating platforms. I'm very excited that this phase of the project is nearing completion!

Lego Mineverse started out to just be a visual. Something that looked like Lego Universe. However, I want to make it more than that. That's where you come in. I'm trying to come up with some neat ideas for this map. First of all, I was thinking xp could be imagination. After smashing mobs, you get xp, like when the maelstrom dropped imagination when you smashed them. Therefore, I was thinking this "imagination" (xp) could be drained when using a bouncer or taming a pet. This is where you come in.

I have no experience in using plugins or modding, so if you know how, please leave a comment to help me out. I know in some maps xp is used as currency. However, I don't know how to do that. If you do, please leave a comment telling me how! Your name will be put in the "Credits" book!

Summary: IF YOU KNOW HOW TO MOD A MAP SO THAT XP IS CURRENCY, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT TELLING ME HOW!!! YOU WILL BE CREDITED FOR HELPING WITH THIS MAP!!!
